Self Education is an extension of our healing philosophy
We believe that transformation happens not only on the mat or in the treatment room, but also through empowered learning. We have partnered with Classical Pilates Education to provide professional training programs designed to deepen your connection to self, expand your understanding of the body, and equip future instructors with the tools to lead with integrity.
Our offerings are rooted in classical wisdom, modern science, and the belief that true wellness begins with knowledge, embodiment, and community.
Partnering with
Teacher Training Programs
Our Teacher Training Programs are designed for those who feel called to teach, guide, and serve through movement and integrative health. Whether you're beginning your journey as a Pilates instructor or expanding your skills as a wellness practitioner, Panacea Vita offers a supportive, high-touch environment where tradition meets transformation.
Through our partnership with Classical Pilates Education (CPE) and additional integrative modalities, we prepare you not only to teach — but to lead with depth, clarity, and confidence. Our programs emphasize embodied knowledge, real-world teaching practice, and a holistic lens that honors the whole person — body, mind, energy, and spirit.
This is more than certification — it’s a calling to serve with wisdom and presence.
Panacea Vita is proud to be an official host site for Classical Pilates Education — a PMA-registered Teacher Training Program founded by Stefanie Ellis in 2013.
Whether you're pursuing Pilates as a career or deepening your personal practice, our certification tracks give you the structure, mentorship, and classical foundation to become a confident, skilled, and respected instructor.
At Panacea Vita, we don’t just teach Pilates — we guide you through a lineage-based journey that honors the original method of Joseph Pilates, with the modern tools and mentorship to support your success.
We offer Mat and Comprehensive Teacher Training in a hybrid format that blends in-person training weekends with online video access, personalized feedback, exams, and real-world teaching opportunities.
You’ll be mentored by qualified Teacher Trainers and surrounded by a supportive studio environment focused on integrity, professionalism, and personal growth.
Beginner Mat Program
This is our foundation course where you learn the principles and basics of teaching.
Intermediate Mat Program
This course expands your repertoire of exercises and teaching skills. We include props like ball, foam roller, magic circle and talk more about teaching multi-level.
Advanced Mat Training Program
This is the final mat course which introduces the most advanced exercises, many of which you won’t teach until your clients progress to this final level of Pilates.
Comprehensive Apparatus Training Program
The course covers Reformer, Cadillac, Tower, High Chair, Wunda Chair, Barrels, and more. The 600 hours is made up by the 18 hour weekend trainings, a monthly 4 hour meeting, home study, tests, observation, workouts and practice. We provide free online videos and manuals to review for home study. After completion of the course which takes about 5-9 months depending how quickly you do your hours, you will receive a 600 hour certificate.
Teachers Who Came Before Have to Say
“Learning to teach pilates with Classical Pilates Education was the best decision ever made! With two young boys, I knew I needed a flexible career. After-school drop-off, 1 am. I able to teach at the studio all day until | leave to pick up my kids. In addition, one finds that teaching clients is so rewarding. / help my clients look and feel their best. I wouldn't trade my career for anything!”

“I did the CPE program with a scholarship, which made the program financially possible for me. That's one thing I love about this school. They go above and beyond to help students succeed. I honestly never would have dreamed my career would take off as it has. I am from Brazi,l and my English wasn't so good when I did the course. It was definitely a challenge, but the free online videos were super helpful and the instructors were so supportive. It wasn't my main goal, but my English has improved so much from this program! I highly recommend this program!”

“Teaching Pilates is a second career for me. I have been a nurse for over 20 years and continue to work full time as an executive nurse at Northwest Medical Center for a HCA.! have always loved nutrition and fitness and when I discovered Pilates, it became a passion. I am so glad I decided to take the leap and take the Classical Pilates Education program. I teach pilates during evenings and weekends as an escape from my day job.
Teaching is so fun and also so rewarding especially to work with seniors, those with chronic back pain, and children and teens who need Pilates for posture, flexibility and strength of the mind and body.”
